Myanmar Earthquake hits East India Too: The Strong earthquake hits the Northeastern India including Delhi-NCR and Bangladesh on Wednesday night. The injuries and damage reports are not available suddenly. The Earthquake epicenter was recorded according to the US Geological Survey. As per the report, the magnitude-6.9 quake is situated at the depth of 135 km, 396km of Naypyidaw, Capital of Myanmar.
Powerful Earthquake in Myanmar and Surroundings
Actually, it is a region of Forest and hills of Myanmar’s Second-largest city. The Earthquake affects the area nearby northeastern India’s Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, and Nagaland.
Disaster management coordinator, Sarat Das said about the Earthquake as, “here is no report of major damage in Tripura, Mizoram, southern Assam and adjoining areas. Only some cracks developed in some buildings in Assam, Manipur and Mizoram adjoining Myanmar.”
In India, all the northeast zones are under the zone V as per the seismological map. Because of this earthquake, the metro train services are stopped at nearby stations itself at Kolkata.

There was 1 million Peoples are living in the 75 kilometer radius of the earthquake region.
