The winners' list of 69th Emmy Awards has out finally now. The award night was hosted by late night show host Stephen Colbert. In the top of the list, The Handmaid's Tale takes many awards (5) from this awards night. While this show has nominated almost in every category, from that, the Outstanding Drama Series, Elisabeth Moss for lead actress, Ann Dowd for supporting actress, Bruce Miller for writing, Reed Morano for directing The Handmaid series. So, the show has got totally five awards from the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Then, under the comedy series shows, Veep took home the award. From this same drama show, Julia Louis-Dreyfus bought this award for the outstanding lead actress in a comedy series. This is sixth Emmy award for her role as Selina Meyer. Also, all her six awards are for the same role.
John Lithgow for ‘The Crown' had the outstanding supporting actor in a drama series. Other TV shows like Saturday Night Live, Big Little Lies, Atlanta, and The Night Of are also there in the list of 69th Emmy Awards winners:
