The 44th annual edition of American Music Awards (AMA) will be hosted by comedian Jay Pharoah and model Gigi Hadid. The event will be aired at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on ABC.

The event will also have Green Day, Maroon 5 with Kendrick Lamar, John Legend, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Twenty One Pilots, Fifth Harmony, James Bay, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes performing at American Music Awards (AMA).

Rapper Drake leads the nominations list with 13 nominations, which is one more than Michael Jackson’s record in 1984. Rhianna follows Drake with seven nominations, while Adele and Justin Bieber got five each. Beyonce and The Chainsmokers leveled at four each, while Carrie Underwood, Fetty Wap, Bryson Tiller, Twenty One Pilots and The Weeknd have three apiece.

Justin Bieber, Drake, and The Weeknd are in the top three fighting for the Favorite Male Artist of the year award. While, Adele, Selena Gomez, and Rihanna will be waiting to grab Favorite Female Artist of the year.
