The show host, complete actor Mohanlal announced the launch of the show in the video which was shared on Asianet Television channels’ social media. He said, “The Malayalam version of the biggest reality show, Bigg Boss Malayalam 3 is coming soon.” Also, he confirmed that he will be there as a host of the show.

There is a talk that the contestants of season 2 are expected to re-enter the show, as the season abruptly ended on the 75th day due to the pandemic. Along with them, few new contestants will be quarantined for 14 days with three COVID tests to ensure safety before entering Bigg Boss house.
