Binance System Upgrade is under process on 8th February, it will be completed by 02:00 om UTC. The Binance support has announced that they need to extend the system update because of the significant increase in users and trading process.
Around 12:30 am UTC, the official tweet of Binance reads that “A system maintenance is in progress, some users may experience a temporary decrease in exchange performance while this in underway. Thank you for your understanding.”
Followed by that, the extension of time duration has revealed. Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance also take his twitter and announced “We experienced a server issue on our replica database cluster, causing some data to be out of sync.
He added “Need to fully resync from the master. Due to the size of the data, it will take several hours. No data is lost. We appreciate your understanding and support.”
Binance team is working hard to come back to the track with their new upgraded system as soon as quickly. They will make the announcement as same as they are ready.
Meantime, the process of withdrawals, deposits, and trading are remain suspended.
