BB Merah Putih who owns the license for marketing, making, and selling BlackBerry-branded smartphones in Indonesia officially announced the launch of BlackBerry Aurora.
The Blackberry Aurora is not just the first Blackberry branded device to be produced in Indonesia. The BB Aurora is also the first Blackberry phone in the world to support dual SIM functionality. Stanly Widjaja, Vice President of BB Merah Putih shared the Information officially.

The BB handset sports a 5.5-inch touchscreen with 720p. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 425 chipset with internal storage capacity of 32 GB. The BB Aurora runs on 4 GB RAM. Regarding the camera, the phone sports a crystal-clear 13 MP rear camera. A 8 MP front camera for beautiful photo selfies. The Blackberry Aurora is packed with a high capacity 3000 mAh battery which makes the mobile phone much more lasting.
With 178g weight and 152 x 76.8 x 8.5 mm dimension, the Blackberry Aurora runs on 7.0 Nougat Android with Black, Silver and Gold Color Options.
The launch price of BB Aurora is 3,499,000 (~260 USD) and available to buy on some e-commerce sites in Indonesia. The pre-order offer for Blackberry Auror ends on March 12.
