Cyclone Alert for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Andhra Pradesh: Wednesday, May 18, 2016: Cyclonic winds crossed the Indian coast and travelled towards the Bangladesh. Due to this, there is a heavy rainfall in north coastal Tamil Nadu & Puducherry for next 24 hours. And for 48 hours in Southern Andhra Pradesh.

Cyclone Alert for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh

Cyclone wind speed is reaching 55 kmph gusting to 75 kmph and north Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andhra Pradesh. Lines of Sewage in Chennai have started overflowing in the maximum number of places due to this cyclonic winds. Totally, in Tamil Nadu, the Rains and floods have been killed nearly 350 people and caused major destructions.

Indian Metolorgical Department has issued the alter for the coastal people and fishermen. It is Advisable for Tamil Nadu, Puducheery, South Andra Pradesh, Kerala coasts and Lakshadweep fishermen. Not to daring journey into the sea for next two days.
