According to the movie distribution, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (EPC) has released in the Telugu States and some other important cities of South India. The movie has released in overseas as well. Initially, most of the filmmakers were hesitated to release their films due to the demonetisation. Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada Box Office Collection: 1st Day Report
Due to the positive talk about the film after the morning show, the later shows are filled as more when to compare with the morning show. Hence, the collection of the film has also geared to upward and marked as the biggest opening of the day. The Romantic thriller by Nikhil Siddharth, which has directed by Vi Anand. The opening day Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada Box Office Collection has crossed Rs. 2 crore in the Telugu states (AP/T), and Rs 25 lakh in the neighbor state, Karnataka. Apart from this, the US has grossed Rs 80 lakh and the film earned more than Rs 10 lakh in the rest of world.
So, the Vi Anand directorial film has earned Rs 3.15 crore on its first day and also the film has collected Rs 1.70 crore for its distributors on the first day.
Trade analyst Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted as “#EkkadikiPothavuChinnavada defies demonitization and dull season by getting good crowds all over Telugu states. Going housefuls in weekend!”
Nikhil Siddhartha-starrer last movies such as Karthikeya and Surya Vs Surya have also collected decent opening day collection. The Karthikeya film was bagged more than Rs 2.5 crore in its first-day release. However, the Surya Vs Surya have grossed nearly Rs 5 crore at the end of the weekend.
