GATE 2017 Hall Tickets/Admit Cards. 2017’s GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is being conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-R) and Indian Institute of Science. The IIT/IISc have released the admit cards aka Hall tickets for the GATE 2017 Exam today. The release of Admit Card is as per schedule and was upload in their official site/web portal on 5th January 2017. Students who have applied for GATE 2017 for MTech and GATE Score can download the HallTickets cum Admit Card from the site today. Like every year, thousands of students have applied for the GATE examination to enter their dream colleges and University. They are preparing for a very long time to get a good score in GATE. The wait for the Admit card is finished as they can download the GATE admit card from today.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2017) is scheduled from on 4th, 5th, 11th & 12th February 2017 in selected cities in India as well as at International places in Nepal, Singapore, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates. Students applying for Master’s and Doctoral level across the country were looking very eagerly for the Admit Card.

GATE 2017 is jointly organized by IISc and Seven Indian Institute of Technology (IITs). The 7 IITs include IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee. IIT Roorkee is conducting this year’s GATE 2017. The examination covers 23 papers (disciplines) and can be taken on Computer-based Test (CBT).

The Admit Card should be presented for verification at the examination center with one original valid photo identification proof. For example valid passport/Valid College ID/Employee ID/Drive License/PAN CARD/Voter ID/Aadhar UID.

The Exam score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings (PSU) for employment processes. Direct recruitment to Group A level posts i.e., Senior Research Officer (SRO) (Crypto) and SRO(S&T) in Cabinet Secretariat, Senior Field Office (SFO Tele) is now employed on the basis of GATE scores.

How to download GATE 2017 Admit Card/Hall Tickers: 5 Steps to get Admit Card
- Visit the official Web Portal/website.
- Click on GATE Admit Card.
- Enter all the required details in the provided fields.
- Click on submit button at the bottom.
- Download/Print the GATE Admit Card/Hall Ticket.
Details available in Admit Card: Registration number, Name of the candidate, Exam paper, Exam Center along with code and address, Examination date and time, Photograph & Signature, Instruction to be followed for the Exam.
The candidates applied for the exam are required to enter their Enrolment ID/ Email Address, Password. Then solve a simple maths question. Upon entering the correct details, they are redirected to the account panel and will be able to download the admit card.
