Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, who fell unconscious on the campaign trail, was hit by a coronavirus. Speaking at a campaign rally in Vadodara at Gujarat on 14th February, Sunday, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.
Chief Minister Rupani was admitted to a private hospital in Ahmedabad from Vadodara, where he was diagnosed with coronary heart disease.

Following this, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was immediately given first aid and airlifted to Ahmedabad, where he was admitted to the UN Mehta Hospital for treatment.
After hearing the news that Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had fainted, Prime Minister Modi contacted him on the phone and inquired about his health. Vijay Roupani underwent several tests on behalf of the hospital, including a corona examination. Rupee's health is normal. He needs some rest, the hospital management said.
The results of the corona test for Rupani were released today. It was confirmed that he was infected with the coronavirus. Despite being infected with the coronavirus, Roupani has only mild symptoms, the hospital said in a statement.
