IPL 2018 in Bengali: Star India announced the regional channels list which all will telecast Indian Premier League (IPL). To the Bengali-speaking cricket fans, they can watch IPL 2018 on Star India’s Bengali movie channel, Jalsha Movies.
Totally, Start India will broadcast all 60 IPL matches live in six languages. They are Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali. Also, all these six language commentaries are available live on Hotstar app/website.
For the Kannada-speaking and Karnataka living IPL cricket fans can watch this IPL 11 on Star Suvarna Plus. The Tamil and Telugu feed will be aired on Star Sports 1 Tamil and Star maa Movies. The Hindi and English fee will be available on Star Sports 1, and Star Sports 1 Hindi.
After the official launch of Star Sports 1 Tamil, the network had planned to launch sports channels in other major regional languages in India on Telugu, Bengali, and Kannada. But, they can’t get permission immediately from the ministry of information and broadcasting (MIB).
Watch IPL 11 live cricket on Jalsha Movies, Hotstar
On March 23, Star launched a TVC featuring Bangla superstar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, to promote the Jalsha Movies to watch IPL 2018 in Bengali.
In that 30 seconds video promo, actor Prosenjit sitting in his living room and searching for something. Also, he starts talking about cricket match scenarios. Meanwhile, we can realize that he is looking for his TV remote. Then he reveals that VIVO IPL 2018 will be special for all the Bengali cricket fans as IPL 11 will be available on mother tongue, Bengali.
The first game of the IPL 11 league stage set to begin on 7th April, Saturday between Mumbai Indian and Chennai Super Kings.
