IPL 2018 Live streaming info: As we all knew that the Star India having official rights for broadcasting live IPL on TV and also on digital platforms. In the IPL history, this is the first time that the tournament will live telecast on six languages on various channels. Star India bought the media rights at Rs 16,347.5 crore for five years from IPL 11.
Also, they had rights of audio-visual production for this year for IPL (Indian Premier League) and BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) domestic cricket for the 2018-19 season. Recently, the media rights of the national team’s home series and domestic cricket for the next five years by Star India for Rs 6138.1 crore on Thursday (5 April 2018)
The first game and the opening ceremony of this 11th season set to begin on Saturday, April 7. According to the schedule, the first game of this season will be between Mumbai Indias and Chennai Super Kings. After many years, this is the first time that the opening ceremony event will take place on the same day as the season’s opening match.
The opening ceremony of the IPL 2018 will take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. So, we can expect the celebrities to the venue. According to the report, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Jacqueline Fernandes are to be performed. Because of the same day of event and match, we can only able to see MI skipper Rohit Sharma and CSK skipper MS Dhoni on the event.
