IPL 2018 ad in Telugu: After ten years of SET’s IPL media rights, STAR India bought the rights for next five years from 11th IPL season. By using Star Network channels across India, they like to broadcast in maximum regional language. In that way, Star Sports will telecast this IPL 2018 in Telugu. Jr NTR, who have had a television brand name via Bigg Boss Telugu. Now, he is also the brand ambassador of IPL Telugu. Recently, he launched the Star Maa Telugu IPL ad.
In the official Star Maa facebook page, the TV channel posts the video. In that, it roughly reads that “Watching VIVO IPL in your favorite language Telugu is the real happiness. Do not forget to watch #MIvCSK on April 7, at 6:30 pm in Star Maa Movies and Hot Star.”
Jr NTR said that the language matters to understand and enjoy a game better. In the press conference, he said: “We speak several languages in India. Sometimes we may not understand other languages. Sport has no boundaries in India as it integrates people of the country. But I feel that a language is a boundary for sport.”
