JEE Mains Result 2018 announced as per the update shortly by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for paper 1 and paper 2 on April 30 (today), Monday. So, the students can check their IIT JEE Mains Result 2018 on the official website of the JEE Main, jeemain.nic.in.
Also, the IIT JEE Mains result will be available on CBSE Results official website, cbseresults.nic.in. So, the candidates those who have appeared for the CBSE IIT-JEE Mains Exams can check their results by visiting the official website or any other alternative websites.
In this exam, there is no weightage given to candidates of 12th class marks in calculating the ranks in the JEE (Main) examination. In this year, the Computer-Based Mode (Online) Examination of JEE Main was conducted on April 15 and 16 as per the schedule. And the paper-based mode (offline) exam was conducted on April 8, Sunday.
Around 14 lakh students appeared for this exam this year. From that, totally 220000 candidates will be getting a chance to appear for the next level of exam called JEE Advanced 2018 exam, who clear JEE Main 2018.

- Totally 23,1024 qualified for appearing in JEE (Advanced) from JEE Mains 2018. Nearly 1135084 candidates registered for paper 1.
- 2,31,024 have qualified out of 11,35,084 students who were registered for JEE Main 2018.
In this year, the states like Odisha, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand have joined the JEE (Main) system.
