Karunanidhi Congratulates the New CMs of Kerala, Assam, and West Bengal: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President, Mr. Karunanidhi greeted the new Chief Ministers of Kerala, West Bengal, and Assam.
Karunanidhi sent a congratulatory letter to the Pinarayi Vijayan, Mamata Banerjee and Sarbananda Sonowal, who all take over the reins of new governments in their states.

He sent separate messages to each of the leaders as, “Please accept my hearty congratulations to you on your assuming office as Chief Minister.”
He said, “Very earnestly, I wish you a comfortable and happy tenure as Chief Minister.”
He wrote to Kerala Chief Minister; Vijayan, “I am quite sure that you will take all necessary steps for further economic growth and prosperity of the naturally-endowed state.”
He sent a message to West Bengal CM, Mamata Banerjee; “The tremendous faith and confidence the great people of West Bengal have reposed in you have paved the smooth way for you to return to the office of the Chief Minister.”
In his message to Mamata Banerjee, he indicates to her BIG poll win.
“I am sure you will continue the good work with all enthusiasm and speed for the growth of the state,” he said.
He also sent a greeting to Assam CM, Sonowal, “I am quite sure that you will work for the protection of the people of Assam, irrespective of their religion, as you have publicly promised to the people.”
