Ubtan Recipe #1 for a youthful skin
Ingredients Required: Gram flour, sandalwood, raw milk
Benefits: Gram flour acts an an exfoliator and removes the layer of dead skin cells. This helps the new cells to come up to the surface with their glow. Sandalwood has cooling properties and is also considered beneficial in preventing ageing signs. Raw milk is known to brighten the skin tone. Hence, this ubtan will bring glow to your face by brightening your skin and giving you a youthful skin.
Recipe: Mix equal amount of sandalwood powder with gram flour and then add raw milk to it. Make sure that the paste is consistent and doesn’t have any lumps for a smooth application. Leave the paste for 15-30 minutes on your face and then wash it off with cold water later.
Ubtan Recipe #2 for butter soft skin
Ingredients Required: Oatmeal, Masoor dal (red lentil), Raw rice, Almonds, Turmeric and Rose water. (For those with dry skin, use milk too.)
Benefits: This ubtan will give you a feather like soft skin. It will also help to remove tan and marks and dead skin cells.
Recipe: Take and grind one cup of red lentil, a quarter cup of raw rice and eight to nine almonds separately.Once done mix the powders of these three ingredients and add half cup of oatmeal and a pinch of turmeric. Now, add rose water to it. Now use this as a body ubtan and apply it on your whole body. Wait till it dries and then add wash it later with water.
Ubtan Recipe #3 for acne-prone skin
Ingredients Required: 1 teaspoon of neem powder, 2 teaspoons of sandalwood powder, 3 teaspoons of chickpea flour, 1/4 spoons of turmeric powder and 2 teaspoons of ground cucumber.
Benefits: This ubtan helps to get rid of blemishes, scars, acne and sebum due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.
Recipe: Mix all the ingredients together and add water to it. Make a consistent and fine paste and massage on your face for 15 minutes. Use this ubtan twice a week for better results.
Ubtan Recipe #4 for daily skin care
Ingredients Required: 1 tbsp sandalwood powder, ½ tbsp turmeric, 2 tbsp milk and 2 tbsp besan.
Benefits: This ubtan helps in brightening the skin tone and giving you a flawless skin. You can also replace this ubtan with your bath soap. You will notice the results within two three days.
Recipe: Mix all the ingredients and use it during bath. You can use it daily. It can be used for body as well as face.
Ubtan Recipe #5 for cleansing skin
Ingredients Required: 1 cup of gram flour, 2 teaspoons of mustard powder, 3 teaspoons of rose water, 2 teaspoons of crushed fresh coriander leaves and Yoghurt (1 Cup).
Benefits: This ubtan will deep cleanse your skin and purify it.
Recipe: Mix all the ingredients and rub on the face for continuously ten minutes. Use it once a week.
