From the Rating board, this film got 4 stars out of 5.
Karthi had a special training along with other artists to look like a real cop. His effort makes the film good and it shows that how he involve in this film. The director’s powerful dialogues in the film are the biggest plus for the movie. Though, he doesn’t pack big dialogues. Cinematography and editing are also notable in this film. Overall, all the crew and cost were presented a good film on this Friday for Tamil Speaking Audience. If you not watched yet, please watch it on Theater.
Theeran Adhigaram Ondru Audience Response
Rajasekar: Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru first half – superbly researched and executed cop thriller so far. Except for the romantic sequences (comparatively better than mainstream Tamil films), I’m sold. Superb work by Vinoth, Karthi, SR Prabhu. Easily one of the best cop thrillers in Tamil cinema. Karthi can be proud of this film, what an effort. Bravo!
Abishek S: Through investigative journalism, Vinoth brings you the brutal reality behind crime rates you hardly notice. Dream Warrior picture captures another interesting one.
Surendhar MKV: Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru 1st half: Rivetingly staged. One of the best interval blocks of the year. Extensive research has gone into the film and it’s quite evident in the storytelling. Realistic, authentic portrayal of police procedures.
Suganth: It has been a while since we had such a relentless action film that didn’t flinch at showing violence and it’s aftermath on screen. And we also get a sweet romantic track that acts as a relief against all this grimness.
Kaushik LMK: Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru Worthy addition to the list of superb Indian cop films. Terrific 2nd half hunt in Rajasthan. No compromise on the action, intensity & violence. Loved the reality-soaked ending! Bring on the sequel. Karthi, Vinoth, Prabhu: Extraordinary work by Ghibran. Waiting for Vishwaroopam 2 sir!
