TNEA 2018 online registrations have started on May 3rd, Thursday. So, the students who have appeared on HSC exam and willing to do a course on Engineering can register the application on the official website of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) – tnea.ac.in.
TN Class 12 results are awaited, while the students seeking admissions to 571 participating engineering institutions in the State should start applying at tnea.ac.in, the registration window has opened to apply from 3rd May 2018.
In the official statement, “Applications can be registered for admission to first year B E/B Tech degree courses to the Departments /Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges, Annamalai University and for the seats surrendered by the Self-Financing Engineering Colleges.”
Also, the TNEA Authority has set up a totally 42 TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) across the Tamil Nadu for certificate verification process. Students who all can’t able to apply online TNEA 2018 application themselves can get help from TFCs. Candidates have time to apply online until 30th May 2018.

Follow the steps provided below to apply online before the due date if you are interested and eligible:
- Go to the official website, https://tnea.ac.in
2. Now, click on ‘Click Here to New User Registration for TNEA 2018’ given at bottom the homepage after the five steps given that how to do.
3. There are totally five steps to complete the whole process such as Registration, Payment, Personal, Academic, and View.
4. At first, fill the registration details, upload certificates wich requisite, pay the application fee and then take a confirmation page printout.
5. In the first week of June after Certificate Verification begins at TFCs, visit nearest TNEA Facilitation Center (TFC) for Certificate Verification to be eligible for the further Admissions process.
- The rank list will be announced in June.
- The Counselling has planned to scheduled in July.
- Then, the first academic year of courses will begin in September.
The regular single window counseling is going to be totally online. Though the counselling for sports category, differently abled, vocational, SC-SCA and supplementary counselling will be held in person in Chennai. Original certificate verification for sports category will also be held in Chennai.
