TS SET result 2018 has been announced by the conducting body, Osmania University on 7th September. Over 50,000 candidates had appeared for the Telangana State Eligibility Test conducted on 15th July from 10 AM to 1:15 PM. All those candidates who appeared for the examination can now check out their results using the official website of the examination i.e. www.telanganaset.org. The administration has provided a PDF file which comprises roll numbers of the shortlisted candidates.

This year (in 2018), responsibilities for organising the examination were given to the Osmania University on the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education Office. To certify the eligibility of a candidate for Assistant Professor & Lecturer. Candidates who have qualified the examination would be able to apply for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor & Lecturer in University/ Colleges.

- Candidates need to press that link and a PDF file will open comprises of roll numbers of qualified candidates.
To qualify the test, candidates needed to score at least 40 per cent marks in the examination. For the candidates belonging to reserved category, the minimum qualifying marks were 35 per cent.
The examination was organised for a total of 29 subjects and one common paper. Generally, the Telangana State Eligibility Test is classified into two papers. Paper 1 contains 50 objective type questions and each question carries two marks. Paper II comprises of 100 multiple choice questions and each question also carries two marks in this section. Paper II consists of questions from the subject selected while paper I consist of questions related comprehension, reasoning ability, divergent thinking and general awareness.
