UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2018: As per the report that the UP Board class X, class XII results released at 1:30 pm and 12:30 pm respectively at the official website of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (BHSIEUP) on Sunday, April 29. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) declared the examination results on time as mentioned.
Totally 36,55,691 students had appeared for the UP Class 10th exam in this year. Also, the board announced the class XII exam results on the same date on Sunday at the same time. For UP Board 12th exam, a total of 29,81,327 students have appeared in this year.
For the year 2016-2017, there were 34,04,571 students had appeared for the UP Class 10th exam. From the result, the overall pass percentage was announced as it is 81.6 percent.
The UP Board 10th exam for the academic year 2017-18 was conducted as per the schedule between 6th February and 22nd February. Also, the board conducted public exam for the class 12th (XII) from 6th February till 14th March 2018.

UP Class 10 Toppers for the academic year 2017-18:
- Allahabad’s Anjali Verma is the first who scored 96.33%.
- Fatehpur’s Yashashvi is the second rank in the UP state for Class 10 who scored 94.5%.
- The third rank is jointly shared by Vinay Kumar (94.17%) and Sani Verma (94.17%)
UP Class 12 toppers for the academic Year 2017-18:
- Rajneesh Shukla from Fatehpur and Akash Maurya from Barabanki are the first by scoring 93.2%.
- Ananya Rai from Ghazipur is the second 92.6%.
- Abhishek Kumar from Moradabad and Ajeet Patel from Barabanki are the both at third, 92.2%
During the examination, more than lakhs of students failed to appear for the examination due to strict checking to stop cheating and impersonation by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh (BHSIEUP). This is the first time in the record that the students skipped examinations of both class 10 and 12.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “When we said let’s conduct a cheating-free exam (then) 10 lakhs students dropped out. This is the figure until now. I don’t know what will happen in future.”
Due to strict measures, around six lakh candidates left the exams and 1,862 students were caught by copying in the examination.

According to Hindustan Times, UP Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma ordered that the board will be displayed the answer sheets of top 15 students who all did their examinations well on both class 10 and class 12 on the UP board official website to transparency in the process of evaluation.
