Actor Politician Vinod Khanna passed away today. He was admitted at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, where he breathed his last at 11.20. He died because of advanced bladder carcinoma.
Vinod Khanna was hospitalized due to dehydration on March 31. The Actor-Politician was admitted to the HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Girgaum. A photo of him went viral few days back which later confirmed that he was suffering from bladder cancer.
His Sons Akshay and Rahul, along with Hospital denied the rumor and stated that he is well and recovering well. Vinod Khanna had worked in many successful movies like “Mere Apne”, “Insaaf” “Parvarish” “Muqaddar Ka Siqandar”, “Qurbani”, “Dayavaan”, “Mera Gaon Mera Desh” “Chandni” “The Burning Train” and “Amar, Akbar, Anthony” among many more. He later moved to start his political career as a BJP’s MP of Lok Sabha from Gurdaspur constituency, Punjab.
