The Indian skipper Virat Kohli‘s on time Review helped team India to get rid of Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar's wicket when he was on 15 runs. Team India is playing against Bangladesh in an only test match before Australia's tour of India which begins on 23rd February. Bangladesh got KL Rahul‘s wicket early and had a great start. But M Vijay and Pujara built a strong partnership and scored 108 and 83 respectively.
Following them, V Kohli scored a brilliant double century and made a record of consecutive double centuries in the 4 test series (West Indies, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh). Saha knocked his 2nd test century and R Jadeja scored a half century. With the help of M Vijay, Pujara, Kohli, Rahane, Saha and Jadeja, India scored 687/6 and declared their first innings.
Bangladesh started their 1st innings when 14 overs left for the day to get completed. S Sarkar and T Iqbal made a steady start. When the score was 38, Soumya Sarkar got inside edged in Umesh Yadav's ball and caught by W Saha. No one in the field realized it was an edge, there were some unconfident appeals, but the umpire said NOT OUT. Virat comes in front and appealed for DRS review and everyone in the field shocked as no one is confident enough that the ball edged the bat. Surprisingly, it is edged and given out by the TV umpire and whole ground applauded Virat Kohli for his brilliant notice and right appeal that reminded MS Dhoni who uses DRS perfectly.
