Contact Us
Everything reaches us at one address: support@worldhab.com. Use the guidance below so your message lands with the right editor on the first pass instead of the third.
One inbox, read by the editors
We do not run a contact form, a phone line, or department aliases that forward to the same tray anyway. One inbox is monitored and triaged by our own editors, so a person on the desk reads your message.
We do not publish a street address, because there is no office with a reception desk. If you need publisher details for a legal notice, ask and we will supply them. Who owns the site is set out on our about page.
Factual errors and corrections
If we got something wrong, put “correction” in the subject line. Those messages come out of the queue first, ahead of pitches and commercial mail, because a wrong sentence keeps doing damage while it sits there.
Include the article link, the sentence you dispute, and the source that shows the correct version. Our corrections policy explains what we change, what we clarify, and how we mark the article afterwards.
Story tips and pitches
Tips are welcome from anywhere. The useful ones say what happened, when, and how you know. If you can point to a document, a filing or a recall notice, include it. We do not pay for tips.
Pitches should be a paragraph, not a portfolio. Tell us the story, say why a reader on the other side of the world would want it, and what reporting you have already done. Press releases are read, but a release alone is rarely a story here.
Sensitive or confidential material
If you have something sensitive, say so in a short first message with no details attached, and we will agree a safer route before you send anything. Do not put confidential documents in a first email to a general inbox.
We will not name a source who asked not to be named, and we will not confirm to anyone that you wrote to us. We also will not claim protection we cannot deliver, so ask what we can offer first.
Advertising and commercial enquiries
Media buyers and agencies use the same address with “advertising” in the subject line. Those messages go to the commercial side and are not discussed with the desk that would cover you.
Read our advertising page first. It lists the formats we sell, the categories we refuse, and the labeling rules for sponsored work.
Privacy and data requests
Requests to see, correct or delete personal data go to the same inbox with “privacy” in the subject line, handled by the editors rather than a third party. Say which right you are exercising and give us enough detail to find you.
Our privacy policy lists what we hold and why, and our cookie policy covers what is set in your browser while you read.
What to expect back
Corrections are looked at the same working day, usually within hours. Tips, pitches and general newsroom mail take a few working days, and a pitch we want gets a faster reply than one we do not. Commercial enquiries take about two.
Privacy requests are acknowledged quickly and completed inside the period the applicable law allows. If a week passes in silence on something urgent, send it again with “second attempt” in the subject. Mail gets lost, and we would rather read it twice than not at all.
